The Stables

  • The L shape stable block was constructed in 2017/18 from block with a tile roof.

  • Each stable is approx. 14ft by 14ft with one tie ring, and LED strip lights. The door is positioned in a way, that allows the horse to stand level when looking over the door, and not partially on bedding.

  • The stable doors have horse friendly top bolts, and kick bolts for extra safety and security.

  • There is a hard standing outside of the stables, a tie ring between each stable, external lights, a tap and 3 outdoor sockets. This area is fenced to make the yard secure in case of loose horses.

  • This eventually will be fronted by a small turnout paddock, ideal turnout for one/two individuals prior to vet/farrier appointments or going for a ride.

  • W/C

  • Kitchen area with individual tack lockers. Accessed by a keypad during opening hours and locked with two further doors and roller shutter overnight.

  • Intruder Alarm and Heat Detector.

Grazing

  • Daytime grazing in same sex herds of five.

  • Each herd has two paddocks to rotate throughout the year.

  • Paddocks are located off a wide track, so no walking through other grazing fields.

  • Post and rail fencing.  The outer boundary also has horse net and is backed by mature hedging, providing extra security, natural shelter and something to nibble on.

  • Natural or manmade shelter in each paddock.

  • Water troughs for manual filling

  • Bales of dust extracted shavings can be added to your package at an extra cost or bought as and when needed from the yard.
